Player Card Errata and Card Clarifications

Aces
bullet Friendly Fire (UNI029) - Card type should read UNIVERSAL Ace 0/R, not 0/F.
bullet Shield Block (UNI015) - This card allows the user to add +2d6 + DEF of the shield to the character's DEF against one single attack.  The DEF of the shield is effectively added twice, once for the normal shield usage and then once for the shield block.
bullet Slice and Slide (U135) - Card type should read UNIVERSAL Ace 0/F, not 1/F.  You must use your next action to make a melee attack, but you may use Dual Action, Dual Strike, Dual Weapons, etc as long as you make one melee attack.  This card allows the user to add +1d6+3 DEF versus one single attack. 
Anchors
bullet Bowmaster (UNI027) - Benefits from this card are only applied to attacks made with bows or crossbows.
bullet Way of the Smith (UNI019) - This card should be worth 10 points.  Cards printed with only 2 points are in error.
bullet Zachtos Bloodline (UNI036) - This card also grants the character a +1 to magic resistance rolls.
Backgrounds
bullet Barbarian (UNI013) - Barbarians may not select the Unhealthy flaw.
bullet Bard (U149) - Bards may not select the Ugly flaw.
bullet Elethay Acolyte (UNI004) - Elethay Acolytes may not select the Unhealthy flaw.
bullet Temple Speaker (UNI025) - This card should be worth 8 points.
BETA Cards

Please remember that Beta cards are in a state of flux.  While they can be used in guild games, they must abide by the current errata.  If these cards are ever released as deluxe cards, the printing on those cards would supercede the beta version.

bullet Drop Kick - This is now an official card and Beta versions are no longer guild legal.
bullet Berserk - A berserk character may only use their action to perform 3 melee attacks.  A berserk character may not play channel cards, cast spells, actively defend, or use dual action, dual strike, slice & slide or perception enhancing cards.  On your initiative, before you make an attack, you may drop the rage and act normally.
bullet Blood Punch - This card is no longer guild legal.
bullet Flyby Kick - This may only be used while flying.
bullet Parry Missiles - This is now an official card and Beta versions are no longer guild legal.
Boons
bullet Pegasus Health (PEG005) - Healing only affects the owner of the boon; it cannot be used to heal others.
bullet Sense Dragon (U143) - This boon can only be gained by Orc characters, not by Dragon characters in Orc form.
Channel
bullet Channel Healing (CHA001) - When a Channel Healing card is played, the target character is healed of d6 + 2 + the total of all 0/F STR cards played to support the Healing. Characters must give up one of their Independent actions to add their current non-item, non-magical STR to a Channel Healing.
bullet Channel Strike (R83) - When a Channel Strike card is played, the non-item, non-magical STR of all characters who are participating in the link is added to the total STR of any 0/F cards that are played to support the Channel Strike.  This total is then added to the melee or magical attack used to deliver the Channel Strike.  Characters who want to lend their STR, in any form, to the Channel Strike must use up one of their Independent actions for the round.  If a character has no Independent actions remaining, they cannot participate in the Channel Strike.
bullet Share the Pain (S1-11 & CHA002) - This card should be worth 4 points.  Some characters may accept more damage than others as long as all of the damage is divided up.  It requires an independent action to participate.
Dragon Cards
bullet Burning Rage (DRA010) - May only be used while in a dragon form.
bullet Dragonflight I (C74) - Duration of flight should be 1 hour.
bullet Foxwings Dragon (DRA007) - When not in form, Foxwings may fly up to 8 hours a day.
Flaws
bullet Denial (R137) - Characters with this flaw must carry a single 1-point form card.
bullet Distinct Appearance (UNI043) - This card should be +3 card points, not -3.
bullet Ugly (U31) - This flaw may not be taken by Bards.
bullet Unhealthy (U41) - Characters with this flaw may not take anchors or boons that grant hit points.  This flaw may not be taken by Barbarians or Elethay Acolytes.
bullet Weakling (U40) - Characters with this flaw may not take anchors or boons that grant STR.
Gargoyle Cards
bullet Finger Tools (GAR002) - You may only gain the benefits of one Finger Tools at a time.
bullet Stone Skin (C83) - SPD should be -1, not 0. 
Griffon Cards
bullet Greater Griffon Form (GRF006) - This card should be worth 5 points (instead of 7).  In addition, the form grants an additional +1 to both STR and DEF for a total of +9 STR and +4 DEF.  New cards will be printed with these corrections.
Guild Cards
bullet Runes - Runes are recovered by resting for 8 continuous hours.  After resting for this time, all drained Runes are recharged.
Human Cards
bullet Latent Shifter (HUM002) - Orcs may not take this card..
Items
bullet Delarian Gem (R71) - CAP should be 1/20, not 1/2.
Mastery Cards
bullet Dual Cast (MAS001) - Dual Cast may only be used for the spell casting class that the character has mastered.
  • Archmages - Only Wizard spells.
  • Glyph Masters - All 3 types of spells they have mastered.
  • Spirit Dancers - Only Shaman spells.
  • Summoner - Only Necromancy spells.
  • Valarian Masters - Only Valarian abilities.
  • Warlocks - Only Witchcraft spells.
Pegasus Cards
bullet Pegasus Dispel (C140) - Card type should read PEGASUS Ace 0/F, not 1/V.
bullet Winged Elf (R133) - Card type should read PEGASUS Ace 1/V, not 1/F.
Racial Cards
bullet Whack It (ORC001) - Card type should read ORC Ace 0/F, not 1/C.
Shaman Spells
bullet Healing Hands (C57) - This spell is line-of-sight.
bullet Spirit Strike (SHA003) - Spirit Strike is a spell and cannot be dodged.  Damage from this is physical, not magical.  However, the following cards are effective against it, Dispel Magic, Valarian Will, or Mystic Reflexes.
Unicorn Cards
bullet Horn of Death (U44) - Damage should be 3d6 + WIS, not 3d6.
bullet Poison Resistance (U144) - This boon allows you to reduce the amount of poison damage by d6+4 points.
Valarian Cards
bullet Mystic Reflexes (VAL008) - This card does not require you to be in a Channel Link or have an Arcane Knowledge.  However, you can only play one Mystic Reflexes in a round.
bullet Meditative Recharge (VAL009) - This card may not be used to bring back a Meditative Recharge.  The damage inflicted cannot be prevented by any means, but it may be shared or healed.  Only one Meditative Recharge may be played each round.  New printings of the card are correct.
Werecat Cards
bullet Healing Lick (S1-4) - This card heals d6+2 hit points of damage.  The WER005 reprint of this card is correct.
bullet Identify Warp Scent (WEC015) - This is a werecat card and cannot be used by Tigrean Dragons or non-shifting tigreans.
Werewolf Cards
bullet Foxwings Werewolf (WER002) - When not in form, Foxwings may fly up to 8 hours a day.
bullet Recognize Scent (WER010) - This is a werewolf card and cannot be used by Das Karr or Foxwing Dragons or non-shifting Das Karr or Foxwings.
Witchcraft Spells
bullet Beguiling Images (WIT007) - When anyone attacks a character with this spell in effect, the attacker must roll a d6.  On a roll of 5 or 6, the attacker hits an image and has no effect.  Special effects from the Warlock Boon or the Witch's Athame do not affect this roll.
Wizard Spells
bullet Arcane Knowledge (C127) - Card type should read WIZARD Ace 1/C, not 1/F.
bullet Lightning Bolt (C49) - Damage should be 3d6 + WIS, not 2d6.
