Clan RanksEach member of a clan starts off as an Initiate and will receive a certificate detailing the benefits of their rank and a place to keep track of their clan points. Clan members can increase their rank by spending role-playing points to purchase Clan Points (5 role-playing points equal 1 Clan Point). A clan character can earn a maximum of 5 clan points per gaming session in this fashion. Special clan events or adventures might grant additional clan points. If the character leaves their clan for any reason, they lose all clan points and benefits. InitiateAt the end of a game, Initiates are allowed to give or receive up to 20 role-playing points to or from other members of the same clan, as if they were in a Channel Link. This ability is cumulative with those granted by a Channel Link, so if an Initiate member is already in a Channel Link, this maximum increases to 40 role playing points. You must earn 10 clan points as an Initiate in order to advance to the next rank. SeekerIn addition to the benefits of the Initiate, Seekers gain a +1 bonus to
all rolls involving relations (persuasion, haggle, etc.) with their chosen
clan (PCs or NPCs) and a +1 bonus to all knowledge checks that would
involve their chosen clan. You must earn 50 clan points as a Seeker in order to advance to the next rank. ElderElders gain an additional +1 bonus to all rolls involving relations
with and knowledge of their chosen clan, for a total of +2. Clan Elders
also gain the right to vote for and hold one of the five Council Member
positions within the clan. These positions are the Covenmaster, Spirit
Singer, Archmage, War Leader, and Valarian Leader. See below for more
details. You must earn 100 clan points as an Elder in order to advance to the next rank. Grand ElderGrand Elders are the wisest, oldest, and most experienced members of a
clan. Even if they do not hold seats on the Clan Council, their voices
are heard and respected within the clan. Grand Elders gain an additional
+1 bonus to all rolls involving relations with and knowledge of their
chosen clan, for a total of +3. Grand Elders also gain a bonus 7 card
points that can
