The Clan CouncilEach clan has six special positions (five attainable by PCs) that constitute the ruling "Clan Council of the Living". As clans develop within the Guild, the Council may have decision-making power in certain situations such as when Clan Only games are run, the dismissal of Clan Members in extreme circumstances, approval of Clan Boons, etc. Clan Council positions have a real-time, two-year term and are voted into their positions by all members within the Clan of Elder status or higher. A player can only have one elected member per clan and the elected member can only hold one position at a time and only for one term at a time. Each character who holds a Clan Council position will receive a certificate that states their benefits and restrictions. These certificates are "0" point anchors usable in all Guild Games. The positions are listed below: HyarchThe clan leader. The Clan Hyarch is an NPC run by the Guildmaster
within the game. As clans develop and councils are used for decision
making purposes, the Guildmaster would cast the Hyarch's vote only for
tie-breaking purposes. High MageA master of Wizardry within the clan. A High Mage must hold Elder status or higher within the clan and must maintain 40 card points of Wizardry spells on their character at all times. The High Mage Anchor grants the holder 7 bonus card points worth of additional Wizardry spells that do not count against the characters normal allotment of card points. CovenmasterA master of Witchcraft within the clan. A Covenmaster must hold Elder
status or higher within the clan and must maintain 40 card points of
Witchcraft spells on their character at all times. The Covenmaster Anchor
grants the holder 7 bonus card points worth of additional Witchcraft
spells that do not count against the characters normal allotment of card
points. Spirit SingerA master of Shamanism within the clan. A Spirit Singer must hold Elder
status or higher within the clan and must maintain 40 card points of
Shamanism spells on their character at all times. The Spirit Singer
Anchor grants the holder 7 bonus card points worth of additional Shamanism
spells that do not count against the characters normal allotment of card
points. Valarian MasterA master of Valarian abilities within the clan. A Valarian Master must hold Elder status or higher within the clan and must maintain 40 card points of Valarian aces on their character at all times. The Valarian Master Anchor grants the holder 7 bonus card points worth of additional Valarian aces that do not count against the characters normal allotment of card points. War LeaderA master of martial prowess within the clan. A War
Leader must hold Elder status or higher within the clan. In addition,
he must possess at least one "Weapon Master" card and must maintain
40
card points worth of cards from the list below at all times. The War
Leader Anchor grants the hold 7 bonus card points worth of additional ace
cards taken from the approved War Leader list, which do not count against
the characters normal allotment of card points. War Leader approved list: Dual Action, Dual Strike, Dual Shot, Dual Weapon, Slice & Slide, Shield Block, Fancy Footwork, Good Moves, Dead Eye, Boosted Strike, Vigorous Strike, Intimidate, Friendly Fire.
